Some very interesting points of view to be sure.   In retrospect I should have clarified the tipping why; I was mostly referring to tipping at the tip rail. The last time I was in a club the DJ anoounced more than once that if you are sitting at the rail a tip is required or the dancers work on tips and tips alone. While I usually sit at the rail because I very much enjoy stage shows I too will sit back in the club and I agree about not feeling the need to tip then.   Sax - even spending $20 or $40 is still tipping in my book!   As for tipping for laps, if I enjoy the dance then I like to show the lady my appreciation.        

If you can't afford a trip to a club WHY do you go anyway? There is nothing worse than a room full of broke or cheapskate non-tippers to put the dancers in a bad mood and kill the mood for the rest of us.    WHY do drunk twenty something's insist on announcing they are piss drunk in the middle of the bathroom for anybody and everybody to hear? Especially in alcohol free clubs. I enjoy a drink and have a flask for just such trips.   If you have to ask you buddy if you should get a lap dance WTF are you doing at a strip club?   WHY do drunks in strip insist on calling attention to themselves by acting like fools?   I realize I'm not that young anymore and I don't have the bad boy looks but WHY do dancers spend all their time and attention on these types? I do have something most of these guys don't have; disposable income which I'm in the club trying to spend.

Cassandra, thank you for an honest and informative post. As for a guy sitting on his hands during a dance; if I don't know a dancer I will be much less likely to touch without at least some encouragement until "boundaries" have been established.

Unfortunatley I am rarely in the area these days either however thanks to Spawns tireless promotion of the club, the positive reviews of the club and the lovely ladies of VIP who have been kind enough to share their photos and friend me I am very interested in visiting VIP. As luck would have it work will have me in LA sometime the first couple weeks of April and I defietely plan to make trip to VIP a part of my itinerary.
