I love this club...i go about 1 sometimes twice a week. It is nice and laid back. The waitresses do push the drinks a little but not too much. i also must say that Marylin is a lil hottie that works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Marylin has a nice rack and pretty face. She gave me a lap dance once in the vip that was off the hook. Unfortunately they don't let her lap anymore...booo....She is the reason why i continued coming to this club and now i enjoy my laps from Sasha, solei, candy cane and dolly.

Great lineup today, for a Saturday afternoon. Dominique, Candy Cane, Fire, Alexa just to name a few. Musta been at least 10 ladies working dayshift. As usual, YMMV, but with 3for$40 specials being called all afternoon you certainly get alot of bang for your buck, even with the songs shortened a bit. Was hoping to see Dymond today, but she was a daytime no-show.
Now if they would just get rid of the "buy the lady a drink" stuff.....

First time visit today. Danced w/ both Dymond & Dominique during the almost constant dance specials (3 for $40, VIP 5 for $120) - pretty good value for nude dances, especially when I'm used to $30 topless dances @ the Bare & Jet Strip.
My only real complaint was the waitress/bartender constantly asking if I'd "buy the lady a drink" anytime a dancer even so much as LOOKED at me. That got real old after a while.
This club is very DARK. Since I was coming into the club from bright sunlight, it took my eyes more than 15 minutes to adjust to the room. But the ambience was nice & laid back, and the dancers were very friendly. Song lengths seemed a bit chopped, but you expect that during specials.
Will definitely add this club into my Saturday afternoon rotation.

I'm sorry sinister but I have not been able to make it to the new downtown rio. My free time has been spent visiting the COI clubs. Dejavu has a great special on Thursdays. The VIP is $100 for a half hour and there is a good amount of girls willing to do extras. Plan to spend around $120 to $200 for very happy endings. If you like african-american girls try Ashanti (not sure of the spelling). She is a lot of fun in the vip. If you like thick latin girls you can try Paradise in La Puente. The mileage there has always been higher for me than at rio.

I got turned off when they used to charge you to self park.
Door man said now they only valet Friday and Saturday. The stage is much nicer than the old Rio and so are the dancers. The songs are really short. On stage the dancers didn't take their tops off until after the first song. Partly because they didn't have time. If there were more than 2 PLs at the rail, the dancers didn't have enough time during the second song to visit all the PL's around the stage. Which makes you wonder why you tip more than the old standard $1/song. The DJ calls 3 for 1 nudes ($40)regularly but there was no break on topless ($20 all the time). Dancers could call their own 3 for 1's or the ones I danced with did. 3 for 1 gets you a reasonable length session that would be 1 1/2 dances at DVCOI. Like I said the songs are short. I like a variety of body types so I enjoyed the revisit. If you want thin dancers, I only saw one but I'm not into skinny. Trina stood out during this visit. I was really looking for Justice but she wasn't there.

I agree to an extent with bighammer in regards to the NASTY Factor & Getting the most for your benjamins, especially with choices 5 & 4 and dayshif. Give a 'little extra' and get a little extra, whether its in the champagne room or 40's section. Day shift have been around for a couple of years and they've been callused enough to go beyond...here & there. As for looks, well, they in the middle of the 1-10 scale, most are either on sumthing and/or have kids and u can tell, if lighting is actually a lil' bit brighter than norm. Other than the cuter ones work nites, their nice too but good luck getting anything extra with them. Day shif is a better bargain for your bills. i prefer trina, besides being nice when she wants to, preferes 'darker complexioned guys' like myself with larger than norm extremities *wink*...and shows it one way or another...yeaaah. I know it's all part of the game & they say what they gotta say 2get u 2 stay a little longer or spend more, but that's who'd id spend my bills on.

Hey guys have u been to the Rio lately. Well u should try it out. I'm writing about the day shift only. The best Pole Dancer is Justice by far, she has plenty of engery and stage present. Lap dancers by the nesty factor 5 being best. #5 Donique,Trina,Cindy. #4Justice,Salma,Renee,JoJo,Becky and there r a few other that r very good I just haven't tried yet. U can't go wrong with any of #5 or 4.

I stopped by last Thursday around 10:30 pm. There were approx. fourteen girls that are on average 5-6’s on the 10 scale. There is a wide variety at this club, white, black, Asian, and of course Latin. It is rare to find such an assortment considering the demographics. There was no push to buy anything. The economy is hurting the girls. I did not dance; however, when I got up to leave two girls tried to physically restrict my departure.
Most of the girls sit over by the bar, so you can see what is available. They had good attitudes when rejected for dances, and had good energy while on stage. The girls are also very thankful for tips. Very few customers ever made up to the tip-rail. A few dollars can go along way here. One drink minimum and free entry with a coupon from the website.
If you are ever making the transition from The Rhino in Torrance to either downtown, Hollywood, or the Valley stop by. Not as rowdy as Sam’s, minus the you could get shot factor, with a better club environment. There are Asian bars in Gardena where you could get a few drinks before entry, if need be
