first time I went to the place in question was last dec with a buddy of mine. As usual he was running late so we agreed to meet there. He told me two things; one if one of the ladies asks me if this is my first time here say no, two-if they ask me do I know how it works say yes. I am thinking to myself...dipshit- I wait 30 minutes for this fool so we can toast a drink and shoot the shit at the tip rail and he jumps to the vip room as soon as he get here! 15 minutes later he emerges, looking like he has been interrogated by

I get a couch dance with a lady (rhymes with carla) who encourages me to be hands on and convinces me to roll to the vip. It is there that she discovers that it is in fact my first trip to the place in question, and that I have no clue as to how it works. Like darth sidious with annakin skywalker-she escorts me to the dark side. I emerge from the vip...illuminated My bro is laughing hysterically because he can tell on my face that now I know. Not convinced that the experience wasn't a fluke, I take two more trips to the vip that night, (rhymes with madia, and mayla). It is at this point that I discard my discount passes to the two other places in LA that I was given, because now I am convinced there is no where else to go.
That being said, can we please use this forum to give trip reports, suggestions, and recommendations to enhance the experience of fellow hobbyists without catfighting like chicks in a sorority, and disclosing details in plain english when "a wink and a nod" will answer the question? Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered. Circle the wagons and hold the line boys! The place in question (rhymes with PT) is a special place...those of you who have lived outside of LA know that. Protect it.

Ok, really. This is getting over the top. Everybody gets it: You think there will be a raid. Fine.
The simple fact is that it isn't illegal to go to a strip club. Unless you're an idiot with outstanding warrants, being present when a theoretically raid happens just means a bit of a hassle and maybe some nervousness. That's it. It's a real problem for the people who WORK at the club, but if you're just sitting there when it happens, whatever, you'll just go home a little early. That's it.
Moral of the story? Don't be a criminal with outstanding warrants.
Talking about this so much is just scare-mongering. Being at a club is NOT ILLEGAL and not grounds for anything.

This is typical of an internet statment. Saying something without saying it. How many people can just walk into the police department or happen over to a police officer and get the skinny on an on going investigation? The same goes for lappers that are in so tight with the club personnel and ownership that they get the skinny on such matters as "paying the police" which is a crime in and of itself. My guess is not many, and the ones that can are not so simple minded as to think they can communicate their findingc in an open forum of perverts and keep their insider standing.
Hey! IF a raid is coming then it is going to happen. Nobody wants to be put through the hassle of having the police look at their id and all, however if you are in good standing there's nothing to worry about. Any man with an outstanding traffic ticket that is out spending his ticket money on pussy should be thrown in jail for having his priorties all messed up.
I am not argueing with you about wheather or not the LE will someday come a knockin on the door at the Hawaii. It is part of the business. It is no diff than a health inspector dropping in on a restaurant. Just a part of life in that biz.
Don't be scared of life, it is out there.

Depends - This is what happened at the raid last year at DVCoI. I was just in the main room, watching when raid occured.
Gentlemen (employees and customers) were placed on one side of the main room, ladies (dancers and customers) on the other side. Men were told to exit the main room, as they exited names were taken from some, some were told to leave, some were taken aside and more intense questioning occured. Some of those more intensly questioned ended up in the back of a police car (by the time I left, saw 4 in the back of cars) - apparently they had outstanding warrants or what ever. I was at the end of the line. In front of me was a black guy. Both of us were dressed nicely and did not appear to have any 'hints' that we were nothing but law abiding citizens, out looking at a bunch of naked women. He got pulled over and his id checked, me, got sent on my way with no check. Guess it was that 'driving while black' theory. Saw him later, they ran him, found a real old traffic ticket, but let him go. The ladies were then let go, with a similar check of some, others sent on their way.
BTW - no one was allowed to go to the bathroom during this time, in case they wished to dispose of any contrband.
