Take it for granted that I do and have just gotten used to a certain caliber of establishment. Then I drive through place like El Toro, where they have exactly one club. Oceanside got a little lucky that even though their no touch rules make the LDs a little lame they have enough going for it where it's ok. Captain's is unfortunately just on the other side of the line. But hey, there are naked chicks there so how bad can it be? Didn't stay long on a Saturday evening as there wasn't much to do. A few girls around who looked okay but not great, with maybe one dancer who'd make the varsity squad at a top club. One thing I thought was interesting was that the main stage was positioned where the long side of the runway was facing most of the club. The place is kind of shaped like an L and the stage split the bar off from the rest of the club. Lapdances happen in booths against the wall across from the bar. Laid out with the SoCal benches and bars style booths. Got exactly one dance from an older (but slender and pretty) brunette in exchange for a one-sided drubbing on the pool table that thankfully not many witnessed in a mostly empty club. Another place that benefits from lack of competition, but if what the girls said about business is any indication this one may not be around much longer. Review of 2 of my favorite dancers at the Captain's place: Holly (see below, 2 msgs down for description) dance was intimate and rewarding (but no touching allowed, remember) with the view unequalled and the moves more than satisifying. I felt like I was the dancee rather than just the occupant of the chair. Personalized dance with more intimacy and cuddle effect than I expected. Most enjoyable! will have to wait until at least next monday for an encore Blue black hair with the most piercing blue eyes i have ever seen. And the glasses drive me crazy. But IMO, this had been a pretty good place, one of the better topless SC's. So I stopped by just before 7 pm (got the Happy Hour entry fee, thrifty me!), and plopped down on the rail by the bar. The Captain has always liked his amply-endowed blondes, so I was surprised to see the diversity of ladies on the stage. Don't get me wrong, there were still some BWBO (blondes with bolt-ons), but there were also a few questionable dancers that perhaps one could attribute to the fact that I was visiting at the tail end of the day shift. Here's who I remember: Eve. Guys, stop by if only to help fund this long-legged, long-haired blonde pay for her yoga lessons. This big-titted contortionist in a trucker hat amazed me almost as much as the fire dancer that I remember seeing years ago. Not gross contortionist, mind you, but jaw-dropping. Jade. The traditional Captain Cream dancer that I remember. Cute blonde, cute tits, winning personality. Dallas. There are questionable dancers, and there are dancers who make you wonder WTF the club owner was thinking. I don't really like talking smack about any of these hard-working ladies, but Dallas was the first one to ask me for a dance, and I almost left the club with all my money because of it. Good thing I persevered, though. Because Olivia came on the stage. I may have a new ATF that drives me from COI clubs. This sensuous Latina caught my eye even before she got on stage, when she tried out the Cream's Dollar Shower machine on a different dancer. This dancer was pretty damn hot herself, but Olivia made me forget her name, so I can't do her justice. After her stage dance I had pretty much decided: if I was going to get any couch dances tonite, they would be from her. And bless her, she came straight up to me after changing into some very nice black lingerie (sometimes I wonder about SC costumes) and escorted me to the couch. Olivia is a sensuous Latina who gets up close and personal with a great GFE. It took all of my willpower to obey the Captain Cream etiquette of no touching. To be honest I've only been there a handful of times in the past 10 years because of some changes in my life. I used to go there several times a week and made lasting friendships outside the club with several of the girls like Fontaine (who used to be my best friend but who I haven't talked with in almost 10 years), Natasha, Legend (who is one of my best friends now), Dita and a couple others. Just a couple years ago I ran into this gal who it turns out worked at CC's up till this year, Madison, and we've since become friends. The last time I was there a few months ago on a Friday evening it was still a lot of fun, the girls are still terrific. A few even remembered me from the old days and I got quite a few hugs and inquiries as to what I'd been up to since then. It was like old home week in a lot of ways, which is a compliment to the club and the girls since I'm comparing it to what everyone calls the 'Golden Age' of CC's. It was especially nice to see Viviene still there, and I kid you not, she looks younger than when I saw her 10 years ago. Plus she gives this AMAZING fire dance on stage that will leave you picking your jaw up off the floor. Seems she's been dancing on tour with Marilyn Manson (Dita's husband of a year) and it has certainly agreed with her! There were plenty of new people there both on stage in elsewhere but the place still has the feeling of the old Captain Creme's minus the overwhelming smell of cigarettes that used to permeate the place. I appreciated not going home smelling like an overfilled ashtray. The place has new furniture and tables, I still find the chairs uncomfortable compaired to the chairs they first had at the club (leftovers from their Jagg nightclub days?). The one difference I did see was from the patrons, both good and bad. The good is that there were more couples and women customers. Now its always been hard to get customers to show some energy but this last time I was there it was like a bunch of zombies sitting in the crowd. I always applauded after a girl's performance and that night I was usually the first to do so followed by a few other patrons. So for those speaking negatively about CC's maybe its not the girls or the club that's the problem. You get what you give guys. So the girls some appreciation and they'll perk up and you'll both have a better time. (something I learned from YEARS of going to CC's) Now for those who think I'm some plant who works at the club, I'm not, if you were there way back when you might remember a tall guy (sometimes skinny, sometimes not), balding, with a missing right ear (from a birth defect). What is this? Whoever decided on this one needs some marketing courses. This is like taking "Kleenex" and renaming it "Tissue in a box". I used to be a semi-regular in this club and you could go to almost any city on the West Coast and they knew about Captain Cream. The whole vibe has changed. This was once the friendly neighborhood strip club with tons of beautiful women but now it is stuffy and the talent is not even close to what it was before. Usually things change for the better, but not here. I was really depressed and the staff seemed to feel the same way, constantly complaining that there was no money. That's not what I want to hear. It was surprising and I have to say it was pleasant. When I walked in I was stoked to see how many beautiful woman worked there. The girls were all very sweet and it was really easy to get comfortable. I definitly had a couple favorites right away but there was one that stood out to me. She was brunette and I believe her name was Sonja? I may be wrong though. Before I left the club I made sure to get a few dances with her. I had to tell her she was my first dance too. I personally am very unhappy at my most recent visit yesterday, wes night. First of all I would like to know why anyone who owns a Strip Club would think that it is a good idea to have male bartenders? On top of that I want to know where all of the females bartenders that I use to come in just to see went? I don't know about any of the rest of you but I don't want to see dick behind the bar. I would like to also point out that the male bartender, Eric I believe his name was made crap drinks, was unnaturally rude to me as well as other patrons, made sexual comments to every dancer that walked by and the whole time complained about how people were not tipping him enough. I don't care how hot your girls are, and the quality has gone down, if you have shit for staff then I have no interest in ever returning to your establishment. One more comment on the bartender, when I gave him a 20% tip on a round of drinks he looked down at it and back up at me and asked me if that was all.
