West Hollywood Sheriff's deputies arrested a dancer at the Body Shop this afternoon, identified as 25 year old Samantha Scarano, for suspected arson. On March 4th, a suspicious fire was ruled as arson in an apartment complex in West Hollywood, which caused approximately $300,000 in damage to the apartment complex.
Although approximately 100 residents had to be evacuated from the building, nobody was seriously hurt and the fire was under control in 20 minutes.
Scarano is reportedly the ex-roommate of the person living at the apartment that was set on fire. Scarano has been booked for attempted murder and is being held in lieu of $1,250,000 in bail at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.
